Watch D.O.G.S. (Dads Of Great Students) is a family and community engagement initiative. The purpose of this program is to provide male role models for students, support student learning to demonstrate that education is important, and provide extra supervision to enhance a safe and positive school culture.
Who are Watch D.O.G.S. and what do they do?
Watch D.O.G.S. are fathers, grandfathers, uncles, and other father-figures who volunteer at least one full day a year. While at school, Watch D.O.G.S. may read and work on class work with students, play at recess, eat lunch with students, or support student supervision at drop off and dismissal.
How do I get started with Watch D.O.G.S.?
Anyone interested in volunteering for the Watch D.O.G.S. program should contact the school office for information about how to complete a background check and schedule volunteer time.
