What is the schedule for September?

  • August 28 - Kindergarten Roundup/Information from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.

  • September 3 and 4 - WA Kids Kindergarten individual parent meetings by appt. all day.

  • September 5 - Kindergarten students attend partial (90-minute) day:
         Last Name A-M = 9:00-10:30 a.m.
         Last Name N-Z - 11:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m.

  • September 8 - Kindergarten students attend partial (90-minute) day:
         Last Name A-M = 9:00-10:30 a.m.
         Last Name N-Z - 11:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m.

  • September 9 - Kindergarten students begin full-day, regular school for the duration.

How can I help my child prepare?

  • Talk about what school will be like
  • Practice morning routines
  • Encourage curiosity and confidence
  • Let your child know it's okay to feel both excited and nervous!
