Our school’s mission is to empower culturally, educationally and economically diverse students to become lifelong learners. We serve more than 400 students in kindergarten through fifth grade. Our focus on this mission is evident every day. Our dedicated staff works together to create a safe and caring place for students to achieve.
John D. “Bud” Hawk Elementary at Jackson Park is next to Bremerton Naval Hospital and The Landing at Jackson Park Navy Family Housing. A new school building replaced our old building in 2014. Construction was made possible thanks to our community members, who approved a capital projects measure in 2011.
We believe all students can learn. We are committed to continuous improvement in the classroom. As we build a supportive school community, we continue to advance our students’ academic and personal growth. We welcome your involvement. We invite you to join with us to provide a strong educational program for our students.
We are part of the Central Kitsap School District in Kitsap County, in the Puget Sound region of Washington state. We are located at 2900 Austin Drive, Bremerton, WA 98312.
